YERRY MINA has been introduced to Lionel Messi at Barcelona training – and fans are loving the difference in stature.

New Barcelona signing Yerry Mina towered over his team-mates as he was introduced to the squad during training on Friday.

The 6'5" defender was confirmed as a Barcelona player this week following a £10.5million move from Palmeiras.

He was all smiles at the training ground as Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez came to greet him, while manager Ernesto Valverde gave a welcoming handshake.

Fans took to social media to brand him a 'giant' after seeing the images of him alongside 5'7" Messi.
